About Us:
Haley Sharpe Design (hsd) is an award-winning design consultancy with over 35 years of experience in planning, design and production of interpretive and interactive experiences. Our diverse portfolio includes social, historical and natural history museums, heritage buildings, children’s museums and science centers, as well as visitor attractions, branding and wayfinding. Since incorporation in 1981, our projects have ranged from community-curated exhibitions and temporary installations, to over 40 national museums.

At our offices in Leicester (UK), Toronto and South Africa, our dedicated staff includes industry leaders in interpretation and design. With experience in curatorship, management and design, hsd brings a coordinated design approach from project scoping and master planning, to creative development and realization. Our current team of 50 multi-disciplinary professionals have helped many museums and cultural venues to develop new approaches to stay vibrant and in-tune with their audiences, to meet customer expectations and to thrive financially.

We believe exhibit design based on great stories and clear principles delivers compelling and relevant visitor experiences. By combining academic integrity, heart and fun, we help clients communicate their engaging stories that inspire and transform audiences.
